Cameras
Sony DSR-PD170
The Sony PD170 is our flagship camcorder. It was recently purchased
by Chris Knight for it's superb video quality in low light, it's manual
control over both picture and audio, and it's built in XLR breakout
box with phantom power. This camera is the pride and joy of FMP. |
 |
Panasonic PV-GS120
Up until recently, this was our main production camera. It was our
first MiniDV Camera and served us well for about a year. It is now
our 1st backup camera. The nice thing abutthis bad boy was that it
hs 3 CCDs packed into a tiny little package. Amazing, right? |
 |
Sony DCR-TRV330
This camera is our 2nd backup camera, and uses the Digital8 format,
which allows us to convert analog 8mm Video into a digital video signal
for importing into the computer. |
 |
Sony CCD-TRV118
This is our "Don't worry if we break the camera, it's junky anyway"
camera. Coincidentally, it's the only camera that belongs to Jesse.
It uses Analog 8mm, which is a pain, but it will be replaced soon. |

Computers
Apple Powerbook G4 1.25Ghz
This is our main editing computer and resides In Chris Knight's small
room. It's a nice piece of equipment and gets the job done. we have
it hooked up to a nice 17in monitor with a 1600 x 1200 resolution.
It's portability is also a plus, because we can now edit video on location. |
 |
Apple iMac G4 800Mhz
This is our backup editing computer, should anything happen to Chris's
laptop, we can use this machine. While it's not as fast as the powerbook,
this was the computer we started out on, and it is a wonderful piece
of equipment. This is the computer responsible for getting us involved
in filmmaking. |
